I stopped in at the cafe after work and played a few songs. It was the first time Sal heard the songs I wrote; I think he knows where a lot of my recent songs come from so it was likely interesting for him. It was dead in the cafe while I played, save a regular fellow named Chris who had an afternoon omelette. Chris thanked me for the tunes on his way out, which was cool! I might play again tomorrow afternoon, between my regular work shift and some overtime in the evening. I believe I'll be there again on Saturday, too, to have some food and a wine taste-off with Sal, as well as playing some tunes.
