Time to leave Melbourne
Yes, this place is rad... but it is expensive and I don't want to work yet. I'd rather spend my money travelling than living in Melbourne! So next is the Great Ocean Road, with surfing stops at the famous Bell's Beach in Torquay, plus maybe Lorne! It should be decent, yet a bit chilly.
After that I think I will visit Sydney and possibly a little place called Mooloolaba in Queensland (warm and rainforesty), where I might be able to be a surf bum for a bit. I'm going to meet with my cousin tonight and discuss getting there and staying and surfing, etc. After that, I'm not sure... but the west coast is calling me...

i am in full support of that decision.. get the hell outta dodge.. surf mecca awaits. sleep on the beach dude, make friends with the turtles. and eat fish tacos.

as long as you remember there's not a hell of a lot on the west coast. if you go that way, make sure you head down to margaret river, it's nice there (go to the voyager estates vineyard, it's awesome). after that head up to ningaloo reef, which is only about a 14hr drive or 97000000000 hour walk from margaret river (it's up in the nw).
